1747Nyazepetrovsky Zavod was founded by manufacturer Pyotr Osokin on the bank of the river Nyazya in the South Ural. From that moment on, the renown of the ‘mild’ and ‘gentle’ iron of the Ural masters was spreading beyond the confines of the country over the long haul of more than two centuries.

Thanks to the team efforts the plant manufactured more than a million of submarine bombs and other ammunition.1945 With the World War II being over, the plant was converted into a peaceful production facility that manufactured construction machinery including stone crushers, gravel and sand washers, gravel sorters, mortar mills, concrete pumps, portable and power shears, broaching machines for pipe forming and other equipment.1947 The plant received the Order of the Red Banner of Labour for its outstanding production accomplishments in the years of World War II. In the bicentennial year of Nyazepetrovsky Zavod, Chekyabinsk GRES (State District Power station) began to provide power to the plant. This facilitated the rapid expansion of the plant’s production capacity. The production output increased eightfold over the period of 18 years, from 1947 to 1965.1949 Nyazepetrovsky Zavod launched the production of hoisting cranes T-73.
